React Instead Of Respond

Panic is the number one reason for inaction. When a person gets ran over by a vehicle nine times out of ten, it will be for inaction. The phrase deer in a headlight cliche is used for a reason. When our body is threatened, our brain triggers our response mechanism, better known as flight or fight response. Which is en-beaded deep in our DNA; so deep in fact that to see it you would need a sequencer and know how to utilize its features.

Today we are a civilization inclined to preserve feelings. The need to be "PC" has overreached our daily lives. We are inclined to "respond" and expect mercy, even from inanimate objects! Placing the blame and the bulk of the pressure on the item in question and away from you, thus preserving your dignity and your feelings. This blame transfer is the adult equivalent of your dog eating the homework.

Think fast! Is a phrase we all grew up with whether by friends or older siblings. This agonizing game (if you didn't catch it)  was training to react to all challenges life had to offer placing the whole blame on your action or lack of coordination. Why try to appeal to the human nature of an inhuman being that would care less of how you or I feel about becoming a stain at a traffic jam site on Main Street.

React instead of respond.
